Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1 John 4:7
As i read this verse, I remember my bestfriend. When we were still in Collage, we went to a mall and we entered into a record bar. Unexpectedly we heard a voice just like of an angel. We asked the saleslady about the voice and learned that the voice comes from a cassette tape that they have selling. And indeed it touched our hearts. It was the last piece, so we bought this tape. Since then, i try to listen to that tape everyday. It contains inspirational verses or quotes that reminds me how important my friend is and how important is God in our lives. The verse abovementioned is included in that tape. I memorized everything the tape says and all the songs. But now, I only remember a few, but I still remember how God blessed me with a very thoughtful and loving bestfriend. Something wrong happened in our friendship and everything that we shared together in so many years of our lives were wiped out. I really miss my Bestfriend. She is so good to me and my family. Even her family considered me as their own. Maybe this is one of the reasons why at some point in my life I don’t want to be very close to other people I meet. Especially the women I meet. I was a very jealous friend and I expect to have all the attention from my friend, the most from my bestfriend. I still have the means to communicate with her but something in me refuses. Maybe, I am afraid that she would remember the bad things I did to her. We had the time to talk 2 years ago. She is so nice that she treated me as if nothing wrong happened. Maybe this is the time to reach out to her and settle our differences. I just pray to God that everything will be alright and I rekindle the friendship we once had. I know nothing is impossible with God. Thank you for reading my story and to remind you to share the love to the people around you while you are still able. Share the goodness and love of God to them. God Bless You In Jesus Mighty Name.

What is your favorite verse in the Bible? Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” remind me of my husband because it is indeed his favorite verse. After all the hardships in everyman’s life, in the end the goodness of the Lord will still prevail as long as we continue obeying him. That’s what he believe and that’s what I like most in him. Seeing things in the positive side of every situation.
In my case, my favorite is Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall not permit the righteous to be moved”. I must admit that my personality is somehow weak. But inspite of it, I believe that as I continue to have faith and believe in God He will not let me down. Just let go and let God. God gives me the strength to face trials. The good thing about this is we allow God to be in the center of our relationship.
There are Popular Verses in the Bible that will help us live ohur lives the way God wants us to. Whatever your favorite verse is, always have time to ponder on the teachings of God by reading the Bible and apply them and your daily lives.

I have seen kids on tv who experience malnutrition. I was alarmed seeing them suffer from it. The malnourished children stop development not only in their physical appearance but also their brain development is also affected. Studies show that children who are malnourished don’t participate well in school. At a very young age they have tuberculosis of the bones and other complications. They lack protein.
As parents we are responsible for the well-being of our children. At a very young age, we should introduce fruits, vegetables and fish rather than fatty foods, junkfoods, softdrinks, etc. I just learned that fish is rich in omega 3 and protein.
I don’t want my children to be malnourished so I’ll try my best give them the right kind of food. To see if your child is growing up healthy you can check his or her weight using the Ideal Body Weight Calculator.

Nobody is excused when it comes to stress. We just have to accept that all of us are prone to it and think of ways to how to fight stress. Even housewives experience stress almost everyday of our lives. It seems that the chores are never going to end. One time I had a chance to talk with a pastor and told me that being a mom is one of the most fulfilling job and that made me smile and feel very blessed to be one. Doctors say that some of the effects of stress is having high blood pressure, heart attack, stomachache, headache back pain and many others. These are some suggestions on how to fight stress.
RELAXAND SLEEP WELL. Take some time to relax probably take a nap for those who work. In my case when my two kids are in the school and I stay at home with my youngest son, I find time to sleep so that when my husband and kids come home, I can take care of them well. Have time to read the Bible and meditate on it to renew our relationship with God.
LISTEN TO MUSIC. I suggest that you hear Christian Songs. In this way you can also revive your spiritual strength. As I do my chores every morning while preparing for breakfast of my family, I always listen to Praise and Worship Songs and it makes me calm and increases my patience especially with my
kids.
TAKE A WALK. It surely helps because when I feel bored here at home I ask my husband for a walk in the mall because it is hot here in Riyadh at this time of the year. But for those who live in a country with a better climate it is better to walk outside to smell fresh air.
EAT WELL. Eat just the right amount of food. Not too little and too much. Eating less makes me experience migraine
FIND A SUPPORT GROUP. It helps a lot when we get to talk to some friends and family. This really fights stress especially when you get to talk to your family by chatting. Eventhough i stay here with my husband and kids I sometimes miss our family in the Philippines and other parts of the world. So i find some time to chat with them. Attending Bible Study can really help a lot especially when you have a problem.
I hope this helped you. Before I forgot, blogging also helps me fight stress so i suggest myself to blog more often.

This post is guest post by my husband.
There are many kinds of rugs that we can find in different parts of the world. Braided rugs, outdoor rugs, traditional rugs, contemporary rugs, kids rugs, Area Rugs and many others each of different sizes, colors and designs. But there is one that i love the most which is the kids rug. It makes me feel like I’m also a kid with its colorful cartoon designs. Also, maybe because i have kids of my own. Here in the Middle East, you can find a lot of traditional rugs but i still go for the kids rugs. It makes me feel like i’m a lot more younger.
This might not be Cheap Rugs but it is still affordable compared to those carpets sold in SM Supermart or other known Mall in the Philippines. Here the good rugs is being sold for less than 1,000 Pesos when converted to Philippine Money.
The only problem is how to ship these rugs since it will cost a lot because of its heavy weight.
I think it is enough about rugs, let’s talk about something that we are experiencing here in the Middle East.Living and working in the Middle east is not that easy. The cultural difference is large. Middle east is a Muslim country so it’s a bit harder for us Christians to live here.
Our kids is also doing great in school despite the fact that it is hard in this place because they seldom mingle with other chilldren of their same age. But the positive side is we as parents have more time to play and teach them good values that develop their good attitudes and conduct.
Working here is also tough specially this month where temperature reaches about 50 deg centigrade. I am waiting for cold season to come as soon as possible.
So how does it feel to live in your place ?

Is there a time in your life you feel like you want to be a child again? With problems here and there i sure did. Some people say that children are just children. ,we think that they don’t have the mind of their own. Every time my daughter and son come from school, they always ask for food. We think that all they care about was their stomach and games and all kids stuff. But i was amazed when we started to teach them about God and about the Bible. I never thought they would care to ask such questions. I could feel their sincerity to know the truth. Some questions i find difficult to answer. It was there that my relationship with my children became much better than before. I had time to know their insights and understand their side. The learning was a two way street. They learn from us and we learn from them as well. And it’s very fulfilling as a mother to share special moments with your children. Our kids love it when we sometimes tell them jokes, they love it more when we have time to tickle them, the thing we call "lambing". But we must always remember that we should always be available to guide and help them like any other ordinary people.
