Posted by mhpanganiban | Under Bible Verses, Happy Day!, Marriage Sunday Nov 22, 2009
I would like to share to you the verses that i chose for me and my husband. This serves as my special gift for him for our 10th year anniversary and i am so glad he liked it. I sent this to him on our 10th year anniversary as husband and wife last November 21, 2009. He told me it would be nice if i will share them with you…so here goes…
10 Bible Verses for YOU and ME
1. Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
This verse always reminds me of you and how God touched your heart and life thru this verse. You always remind me of this whenever we face problems and difficulties in our life.
2. Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.
Since I know your favorite verse, you should know mine, too. This is the first verse that I have always loved. Since I easily give up on things and most of the time I find it hard to solve things my way, I want to remind myself that I should entrust everything to God because with Him nothing is impossible.
3. John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
This the first verse that Micaella and Kyle memorized … and I believe this is also important for us because this reminds us of the love of God for us that He wanted us to be with Him in eternal life.
4. Ephesians 5:21
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
As husband and wife this will truly help us to love each other with honor and respect.
5. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
This will remind us of what LOVE is really about
LOVE- Leads us to the Light by following the way of Jesus Christ,
LOVE – Overflows when you are willing to Offer your life for Others
LOVE – Very much brings joy, hope and faith for those who love God
LOVE – Endures forever like the Everlasting love of God for Everyone
6. 2 Corinthians 9:13-15
13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
I thank God for this gift that he has given us. Let us continue to help others by sharing what we have and helping those in need whichever way we can.
7. Galatians 5:22-23
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The fruits of the Holy Spirit which remind us to be watchful of our actions… wag malaglag ang bunga!
8.Hebrew 6:12
12We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
This will remind me to be enthusiastic in doing things and always remember that in everything I do , I do it for the glory of God. Always remind me of this verse lakay ha.
9. Joshua 24:15
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Although there are times when I am about to give up on serving the Lord please remind me of this verse. I would really love to teach our kids about the word of God, but please help me, I also want them to be servants of God.
10. Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
This will remind us that God will never leave us in our every endeavor. He will always be there especially in times of trouble. Also reminds us to be thankful and contented with our blessings especially to be contented with one another.
YOU ARE GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT TO ME, TO OUR KIDS, OUR FAMILY AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU…I LOVE YOU LAKAY ! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! I love you with the love of God. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER! MMMMWAAAAAH…TTTSSSSSUUUUPPPP…I LOVE U!
The Joy of the Lord is my strength
Posted by mhpanganiban | Under Bible Verses, Daily Devotional Monday Nov 9, 2009Sometimes we overlook the goodness of God in our lives. We ponder on things that make us sad, not being able to see the good things that are happening around us .
The problems we face everyday, whether it be financial , emotional, physical, spiritual, make us forget that there are many things that can remind us that we are special to God our Father…
Everytime we face such trials or difficulties in our lives, let us always remember that there are so many other things that God gave to us which make us important. When we think of our blessings God provided for us, our family, our kids, the people around us who love and care for us, the friends we seldom see, the physical well being, and most importantly, that spiritual gifts that He gives us as we grow in serving, knowing, praising, loving God with all our heart and mind.
Our failures often times rob us of our joy. Don’t let thing happen. Let the Spirit of God be upon us always thru His words. Let us sing praises to Him in the midst of problems, failures, temptations and difficulties.
”A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” –Proverbs 17:22 (NLT)
We will be victorious if we let God enter into our hearts and lives. God bless you all!
A Love Story
Posted by mhpanganiban | Under Christian Stories Sunday Nov 8, 2009One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Ah the beauty of God’s creation is beyond description. As I watched, I praised God for His beautiful work. As I sat there, I felt the Lord’s presence with me.
He asked me, "Do you love me?"
I answered, "Of course, God! You are my Lord and Saviour!"
Then He asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still love me?"
I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my body and wondered how many things I wouldn’t; be able to do, the things that I took for granted.
And I answered, "It would be tough Lord, but I would still love You."
Don’t let “The Chain of Love” be broken
Posted by mhpanganiban | Under Christian Stories Saturday Nov 7, 2009Here’s a story to share… It is a bit long but is worth reading. Please have the patience to read this story and share your LOVE by sharing this story to your friends and loved ones and…
The Chain of Love
He was driving home one evening, on a two-lane country road. Work, in this small mid-western community, was almost as slow as his beat-up Pontiac. But he never quit looking. Ever since the Levis factory closed, he’d been unemployed, and with winter raging on, the chill had finally hit home.
It was a lonely road. Not very many people had a reason to be on it, unless they were leaving. Most of his friends had already left. They had families to feed and dreams to fulfill. But he stayed on. After all, this was where he buried his mother and father. He was born here and knew the country.
He could go down this road blind, and tell you what was on either side, and with his headlights not working, that came in handy. It was starting to get dark and light snow flurries were coming down. He’d better get a move on.
You know, he almost didn’t see the old lady, stranded on the side of the road. But even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Beatitudes for the Home

I haven’t posted for quite a long time because I was busy with others things. I hate the word BUSY for it stands for B-burried, U-under, S-satan’s, Y-yoke.
As Christians, we should always be watchful with the things we do and learn to prioritize things which are important to God like our ministries in sharing His word. As we study His word we will learn how important it is to have a BLESSED HOME… this serve as a guide for us…
BEATITUDES FOR THE HOME
BLESSED are the husband and wife who continue to be affectionate and considerate, loving after the wedding bells have ceased ringing.
BLESSED are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their friends.
BLESSED are they who have a sense of humor, for this attribute will be a handy shock absorber.
BLESSED are they who love their mates more than any other person in the world and who joyfully fulfill their marriage vows of lifetime of fidelity and mutual helpfulness to one another.
BLESSED are they who attain parenthood, for children are a heritage of the Lord.
BLESSED are they who remember to thank God for their food before they partake of it, and who set apart some time each day for the reading of the Bible and for prayer.
BLESSED are those mates who never speak loudly to one another and who make their home a place where "seldom is heard a discouraging word".
BLESSED are the husband and wife who faithfully attend the worship service of the church and who work together in the church for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom.
BLESSED are the husband and wife who can work out problems of adjustments without interference from relatives.
BLESSED is the couple who has a complete understanding about financial matters and who has worked out a perfect partnership with all money under the control of both.
BLESSED are the husband and wife who humbly dedicate their lives and their home to Christ and who practice the teachings of Christ in the home by being unselfish, loyal, and loving.
