Heart’s Day Gift

Saturday Feb 13, 2010

Are you expecting a gift from your special someone this heart’s day? Don’t expect too much…

Valentine’s Dreams

After she woke up, a woman told her husband, "I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s day. What do you think it means?"

"You’ll know on Valentine’s Day." he said.

On Valentine’s Day, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it – to find a book entitled….

"The Meaning Of Dreams."

…be contented with what he has to offer and the love you share with one another. Be grateful for the Love of God that we receive everyday thru the people around us. Show them how much you care and make them realize that God loves them too.

“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.” – 2 Thessalonians 1:3

All I really needed to know, I learned from Noah’s Ark

Monday Jun 8, 2009

1. Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.
2. Stay fit. When you’re 600 years old, someone might ask you to do something REALLY big.
3. Don’t listen to critics — do what has to be done.
4. Build on high ground.
5. For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.
6. Speed isn’t always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board, but so were the snails.
7. If you can’t fight or flee — float!
8. Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones on earth.
9. Don’t forget that we’re all in the same boat.
10. Stay below deck during the storm.
11. Remember that the ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic was built by professionals.
12. Remember that the woodpeckers INSIDE are often a bigger threat than the storm outside.
13. Don’t miss the boat.
14. No matter how bleak it looks, there’s always a rainbow on the other side.
15. When God shuts the door on this world for the last time, be sure YOU are on the right side.

Who Makes The Coffee?

Monday Dec 22, 2008

I haven’t posted for quite a while…just want to share this simple joke to you. God bless you all in Jesus Name…

Who Makes The Coffee?

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning.

The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don’t have to wait as long to get our coffee."

The husband said, "You are in charge of the cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee."

Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides it is written in the Bible that the man should make the coffee."

Husband replies, "What? I can’t believe that. Show me."

So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and shows him that at the top of several pages it was written…. HEBREWS.

Below is a joke that will somehow make you smile or even laugh…:)

New Employee Help Desk Call

A new employee calls the Help Desk to complain that there’s something wrong with her password.

“The problem is that whenever I type the password, it just shows stars,” she says.

“Those asterisks are to protect you,” the Help Desk technician explains, “so if someone were standing behind you, they wouldn’t be able to read your password.”

“Yeah,” she says, “but they show up even when there is no one standing behind me!”
