Today we celebrate Mother’s day. A day to thank God for giving us a loving, kind, understanding mother. A day to give thanks to our mother for their prayer… as i share to you the video below, may we be able to realize the love that our mother has been giving us. That we may realize that because of our Mother’s Prayer and God’s love and mercy we received Jesus as our Saviour and we continue to grow spiritually.

After she woke up, a woman told her husband, "I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s day. What do you think it means?"

On Valentine’s Day, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it – to find a book entitled….

…be contented with what he has to offer and the love you share with one another. Be grateful for the Love of God that we receive everyday thru the people around us. Show them how much you care and make them realize that God loves them too.

I would like to share to you the verses that i chose for me and my husband. This serves as my special gift for him for our 10th year anniversary and i am so glad he liked it. I sent this to him on our 10th year anniversary as husband and wife last November 21, 2009. He told me it would be nice if i will share them with you…so here goes…
10 Bible Verses for YOU and ME
1. Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose.
This verse always reminds me of you and how God touched your heart and life thru this verse. You always remind me of this whenever we face problems and difficulties in our life.
2. Psalm 55:22
Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.
Since I know your favorite verse, you should know mine, too. This is the first verse that I have always loved. Since I easily give up on things and most of the time I find it hard to solve things my way, I want to remind myself that I should entrust everything to God because with Him nothing is impossible.
3. John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
This the first verse that Micaella and Kyle memorized … and I believe this is also important for us because this reminds us of the love of God for us that He wanted us to be with Him in eternal life.
4. Ephesians 5:21
Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
As husband and wife this will truly help us to love each other with honor and respect.
5. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
This will remind us of what LOVE is really about
LOVE- Leads us to the Light by following the way of Jesus Christ,
LOVE – Overflows when you are willing to Offer your life for Others
LOVE – Very much brings joy, hope and faith for those who love God
LOVE – Endures forever like the Everlasting love of God for Everyone
6. 2 Corinthians 9:13-15
13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
I thank God for this gift that he has given us. Let us continue to help others by sharing what we have and helping those in need whichever way we can.
7. Galatians 5:22-23
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
The fruits of the Holy Spirit which remind us to be watchful of our actions… wag malaglag ang bunga!
8.Hebrew 6:12
12We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
This will remind me to be enthusiastic in doing things and always remember that in everything I do , I do it for the glory of God. Always remind me of this verse lakay ha.
9. Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Although there are times when I am about to give up on serving the Lord please remind me of this verse. I would really love to teach our kids about the word of God, but please help me, I also want them to be servants of God.
10. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Neverwill I leave you; neverwill I forsake you."
This will remind us that God will never leave us in our every endeavor. He will always be there especially in times of trouble. Also reminds us to be thankful and contented with our blessings especially to be contented with one another.
YOU ARE GOD’S PRECIOUS GIFT TO ME, TO OUR KIDS, OUR FAMILY AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU…I LOVE YOU LAKAY ! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! I love you with the love of God. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER! MMMMWAAAAAH…TTTSSSSSUUUUPPPP…I LOVE U!

Today is Kyle Dexter’s birthday, our second child. They say he looks like his father from whom he got his name Dexter. Yesterday we celebrated his birthday, Micaella’s birthday and our anniversary…tipid…We ate at Steakhouse…eat all you can. Thank God our car was fixed in the right time. God is really good.
Kyle is closer to his father than me…He looks up to him…That is why i see him as the child in the song “I wanna be just like you”. This was the video I posted a few weeks ago for Father’s day.
Kyle really dances very well…many of our friends notice it and i believe that he will also become a song leader someday.
Like Micaella, Kyle is also blogging at www.pambata.com and you can have a much better view of his drawings there. Below is an example of his drawing. I liked it so much…He did this when he was younger.
I pray that God will continue to bless you, Kyle, with wisdom coming from Him…and that you will grow up to be a good man with the people around you who love you so much.

My husband and i are celebrating our 11th year anniversary. It isn’t our wedding anniversary but we always consider this day a special day because this was the time i realized that i also love him. …I just wanted to greet you Lakay Dex…Happy Anniversary!
God is really great…I will always thank Him for giving me such an understanding and loving husband…Miss ko na steakhouse Lakay…
I also wanted to greet kuya Jose and ate Bessie…Today is also their 12th wedding anniversary…our brother and sister in Christ… I am so blessed having friends like them who are always willing to help in times of need. Happy Anniversary po. God bless you in Jesus Name.

I saw this video, i think this would inspire many fathers out there. May God guide you as you raise your children with the guidance and love of God. Advance Happy fathers day to all the fathers out there especially to my husband Dexter, my father Papa Arturo, tatay Gerry, my brothers Noel and Gani, my brothers-in-law kuya Philip and Jonjon. After Micaella, now is my father’s turn to celebrate his birthday. Art as his friends often call him is my papa. His real name is Arturo. My Papa is a fantastic bowler. I remember when we were small, he often play bowling and used to win appliances when he joined tournaments. He also loves singing. He encourages his grandchildren to sing. I myself love music. Maybe i got that from him.
Me and all my siblings were able to graduate because of the support of Papa and Mama. We spent lesser time with my papa because he used to work abroad. He is a real good provider for his family. My papa is a very understanding and loving father. His apo’s call him LoArt or some call him papa.
Papa, I still remember those few months we spent with you abroad. We really enjoyed staying there with you. Eating Broasted Chicken with softdrinks. I miss those times. I miss the Broasted Chicken. Most of all, I MISS YOU PAPA…I want to say thank you for everything you have done for us and sorry if sometimes we disappoint you. I know that for now I no longer practice my profession but I promise I would be a good wife, a good mother and a good daughter for you.
I thank God for giving me such a wonderful father…WE LOVE YOU PAPA…YOU ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED…May God continue to give you good health and a loving relationship with mama, my siblings, the people around and most especially with God. God bless you po in Jesus Name.

Yesterday everyone celebrated MOTHER’s Day! My husband gave me devotion books for mothers, my kids gave me flowers they personally picked from our garden, my mom and everyone greeted me HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! In our church all mothers were given a rose chocolate and a poem that made me realize things that i don’t know and i want to share it with you.
When You Thought I Wasn’t Looking
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you hang my first picture on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you feed a stray cat, and I thought it was good to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you make my favorite cake for me, and I knew that little things are special things.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I heard you say a prayer, and I believed there was a God that I could always talk to.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I felt you kiss me good night, and I felt loved.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw tears come from your eyes and I learned that sometimes things hurt, but it’s all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw that you cared and I wanted to be everything that I could be.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I looked….and now I want to say thanks for all the things I saw, when you thought I wasn’t looking.
To all the mothers out there, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! most especially to my ever loving mom…I LOVE YOU MOM! I hope that i will become a loving, caring, kind,understanding mother just like you. Thank you for all your sacrifices, for all the things you did when you thought we weren’t looking. WE LOVE YOU MOM!
To my husband, kids, mom, dad, my siblings, my in-laws, my relatives, to all those special people who greeted me, THANK YOU!
Last April 19 was my Kuya Noel’s birthday! He is 1 year older than me. I was not able to greet him on the day of his birthday because we were busy packing our things for vacation. Now we are here in Cavite with my parents.
I often call him Noel then, because he “looks younger than me especially when we were small. We went to the same school in elementary, in highschool our schools are facing each other, in college we also attended the same school, but he decided to transfer to another college that’s why we graduated from different college.
This brother of mine is really into sports especially basketball. He’s a real fan of basketball. His favorite team was Purefoods and his favorite player was “Jolas”. I remember him getting mad at me especially when i talk to him while he is watching basketball games on tv. Being a fanatic, he is also good at playing basketball, until now that he is already in UK.
He is very blessed having a real nice wife “Mary Grace” and two lovely kids Emmanuel Craig and Daniella Grace. We promised each other that we will have our vacation this December but unfortunately, I think it will not push thru. I hope that we will be able to chat with each other more often.
I had fond memories with this brother of mine. I don’t know if he still remember the time when he would let me bring his “bugong” (packed lunch) in school and he would get it from me during lunch time. After finishing his bugong he would bring the container to me and ask money from me . But it’s fine with me now. It just makes me laugh when I remember these experiences with my siblings. I really miss them so much. I love them all. I do pray God will give all of us the provision to see each other. I am so happy that I am with my family now. Hope to be there in Batangas in a couple of days.
Before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KUYA NOEL!!! You are so blessed .
