Hello everyone! I am now introducing a new category here which is the WORD BUILDER. Some of the words in the Bible are not familiar to me so God gave me wisdom to share to you the words that are not often used in our daily conversations. I have not finished reading the bible yet and I find it really necessary for us to know every word we read in the Bible. I hope that this will help you a lot as we continue to study the word of God. May God guide me and give me wisdom in this.This will serve as our Bible Dictionary as I input some of the words. I will make the Words italicized, underlined and color of the font is blue in every articles that I will post and as you click those words it will bring you to its meaning or meanings. SUPPLICA’TION, n. L. supplicatio.
1. Entreaty; humble and earnest prayer in worship. In all our supplications to the Father of mercies, let us remember a world lying in ignorance and wickedness.
2. Petition; earnest request.
3. In Roman antiquity, a religious solemnity observed in consequence of some military success. It consisted in sacrifices, feasting, offering thanks, and praying for a continuance of success.
